Frequently Asked Questions

How can I get my child in Philadelphia Electrical & Technology Charter High School?

Acceptance to Philadelphia Electrical & Technology Charter High School is determined through a Lottery. We are currently at full capacity for the 2017-2018 School Year.

WE WILL BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR
 2018-2019 from October 1, 2017 through January 31, 2018.

How do I know if my child was selected via the lottery?

All applicants will receive a letter after the lottery informing them of the results of the lottery. If a student’s name was selected, we will request a confirmation notice and enrollment package. If a student’s name was not selected, a wait list will be established. This wait list will begin immediately after the lottery and will be kept on a first-come first-serve basis.

Can I witness the lottery?

Yes, the lottery for the 2018-2019 School Year will take place in our school’s Technology Center on February 1, 2018 at 10AM.
