In March 2020, schools were ordered to close at the direction of Governor Tom Wolf in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the pandemic continues to be a real threat to the health and safety of our community, Philadelphia E&T's Board of Trustees approved a comprehensive Health & Safety Plan, Remote Learning Plan and revised Academic Calendar for the 2020-2021 School Year on July 31, 2020.
These plan can be found under the "Our Programs" page on this site and listed on our COVID-19 Information Hub. After much consideration, review and listening to the feedback of the community, the decision has been made to begin the school year 100% remotely through the first semester. We are committed to providing a high-quality and holistic remote learning experience for our students. Please visit our COVID-19 Information Hub for all updates and grade level information.

Philadelphia Electrical & Technology Charter High School offers a comprehensive high school experience for 600 students. Our school is located in the middle of Center City Philadelphia, a block away from City Hall. Our center city location allows students from all over Philadelphia to attend our school. Our goal is to prepare our students to enter the career fields of their choice in a variety of ways, either through pursuit of apprenticeships at IBEW Local 98, attendance at two or four year colleges, direct employment in those industries following graduation, or some combination of those paths.
